At On The Job and Off, furthering our mission is dependent on individuals who inform and connect first responders with our educational programming. We’re seeking qualified individuals to join our membership team to help us grow our membership platform. Membership team members will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at generating leads, building relationships, and onboarding new members. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a passion for first responders’ mental health, and the ability to showcase our training in a compelling way.
Membership Coordinator
Objectives of this Role
- Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding of why this education is so vital for first responders
- Meet weekly, monthly, and annual membership quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Generate leads and build relationships with departments and emergency communications centers
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Maintain working relationships with existing departments and emergency communications centers to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new membership opportunities
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new memberships in all service categories offered
- Possess in-depth knowledge of our training platform and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling
- Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, and other documentation as required for membership presentations
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following an defined selling process with potential departments and call centers, often utilizing product demos and presentations
- Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring
- Attend a team meeting twice a month
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in sales and/or working as or with first responders
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with record management software and CRM
- A passion for advocating around mental health, specifically for first responders
