Topics center around three main pillars for these disciplines: the mental demands of their jobs (e.g., vicarious trauma, cumulative stress, compassion fatigue), building resilience to meet the demands of their jobs (e.g., addressing addiction, grief, sleep, physical fitness, nutrition), and responding to critical incidents (e.g., managing critical incident stress, suicide prevention). Course instruction is presented via video, and participants are invited to engage in the content through self-assessment and self-reflection. New course content is added and updated annually.
